This is the clock we got from (Rochelle's) Grandma and Grandpa Williams. It was in a state of disrepair when we got it - the hands were bent and there was no glass on front. It worked, but only for a bit at a time. We got it as restored as possible but even the clock repairer had a heck of a time finding parts. In fact, he still can't find a bezel that fits it so it is still without a glass cover and hinges.
It is an Adamantine Seth Thomas mantle clock made in the 1800's sometime after it was patented in 1880. We love that it is a family piece..and, it has the most beautiful chime. We are going to send it back to the clock doctor indefinitely until he can find the correct bezel to finish it off.
