Sewing Day

This week I took one of my days off to sew Wilson some pants. I made four pairs. Two from shirt sleeves. The denim ones are cuter in person, I promise.

The next pair are knit stripes. He's wearing them backwards in this picture. Oh, and he really likes to sweep the driveway.

The final pair is the only pair I made completely from scratch (not repurposed from our other clothes in the goodwill bin). These are flannel lined denim pants. They are slightly baggy and high in the waist and long in the legs so he can grow into them this winter. I added a button so they can remain rolled up until he gets taller, which I suspect won't take long. Then I won't have to feel so sad that all my work only got a few months of wear.

OK, were you this crafty in college?! I don't remember you wearing any pants with shirt cuffs at the bottom!
