Evelyn, Week by Week

Evelyn Claire is 42 weeks old! Kevin got some fun pics of the kids this week!

Thursday evening Kevin was out of town and Wilson and Evelyn and I were enjoying the nice weather outside in the front yard. Wilson was on his big wheel and Evelyn was in her exersaucer. A neighbor across the street loudly yelled, "hi!" to another person to which Evelyn happily replied, "hi!" and made the appropriate hand flapping gesture.

I was taken aback - because this was a first and also because she said it with such gusto it made me wonder how long she had been doing it but we just never noticed! Since then she has been saying, "hi, hi, hi, hi" and waving lots.

The nice weather has been fun for the kids and wears them out to the point that Wilson has been sleeping past his typical 5:30 a.m. wake time. Evelyn has been hitting the sack a bit earlier than usual but still waking early : /

I don't think I mention enough just how great Wilson is with Evelyn, I think you can see it in these pictures.

A cute story: Kevin was asking him about all his friends and who he loves. When he asked Wilson if his friend, Kendall, was his best friend Wilson said, "no?" He asked him who his best friend was, then and Wilson said, "God!"
