Since late March, Evelyn has really started getting better at using her words and has been using more and more of them, praise the Lord. She started speaking in a 3-word sentence, "I sit down." and has been a little better at asking "help me Mommy" when she gets frustrated at the dinner table, and nodding her head emphatically to say "yes." It's such a relief to be able to understand more of what she wants and is thinking.
We're seeing lots of hugs between Wilson and Evelyn these days...unfortunately because she is often apologizing for hitting him. She's having some trouble keeping her hands to herself. We were at the shoe store several weeks ago and she pushed a little boy on the shoulder - not hard - but enough to knock him off balance and onto his butt, for no apparent reason. It was embarrassing!
This little girl is going to keep us on our toes.
Her favorite book is Polar Bear, Polar Bear and she loves to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Snuggle Puppy.
