Wilson's Field Trip to a Heritage Farm

Wilson had his third field trip last week - to a heritage farm. I didn't go to this one, but I wish I had - I love those recreated 1800's homesteads.

I got several unsolicited texts that day from the moms on the trip:

• "Wilson asked the most questions. He was very interested in everything. He was cracking me up..."
• "Wilson (feeling the straw mattress): 'I have a mattress like that!' (upon hearing parents' laughter) 'Wait, I mean I have sheets that feel like straw.'" Nice save, Wilson.
• "Oh my gosh, he just narrowly missed being pooped on by a bird! Nasty!"
• "So Jake learned to fake smile from Wilson, I see!" (see below picture with his "BFF" Jake)
