The kids have umbrellas and rain boots for the first time. They love when it rains.
This weekend we went to Storm Lake to visit while Kevin and the guys worked on some projects around the house.
Last weekend, Kevin got out the tent and took Wilson and Evelyn on their first camping trip in our backyard. :) We roasted hot dogs and s'mores on the fire pit with the neighbors before getting them off to a late bedtime. Kevin said they both fell asleep within minutes. Evelyn woke at the crack of dawn and came inside the house and asked to crawl into bed with me, where she slept another hour or so. Kevin says he needs an air mattress for his next camping venture.
On an especially hot day we bought a sprinkler and ran around the front yard all afternoon. Evelyn especially loved it.
Wilson was more tentative.
