This weekend Wilson's Grandma and Grandpa Mangold came to visit. We had a fun and busy weekend, first going to the Shedd Aquarium downtown on Saturday and then to the Kane County Flea Market on Sunday.
We didn't take as many pictures as we should, but Shedd was pretty busy. The highlight for Wilson was when he could get up close and personal with dolphins and sea otters swimming underwater. The aquarium has made a lot of changes since we were last there and it's especially interactive for kids now.
The flea market was fun for the adults, but Wilson slept through most of it. But really, he had so much fun over the weekend that he shortened his naps and then was grumpier than usual the rest of the time.
The rest of the weekend we spent re-landscaping our front yard. We finally pulled out the ugly overgrown bushes and with quite a bit of inspiration (100%) from our visitors landed on a plan that we're excited about. A before and after on that is yet to come...
