Labor Day weekend

Labor Day weekend we went to Prairie City to visit Grandma and Grandpa Williams. It was a rash decision. Our little Evie does terrible on car rides so this was bound to be a rough trip. However, somehow by a miracle she really did okay. We went to the Blank Park Zoo - this time Evelyn did not cooperate. She refused to lie in the stroller and I had to hold her the.whole.time we were there. Wilson, on the other hand, had fun. He saw all sorts of animals from tigers and lions to giraffes and otters. The highlight, of course, was the elephant statue. STATUE. Oh, and the playground. What a goofball.

Wilson also had to ride on Grandpa's tractor and explained to anyone who would listen how the grass goes up the shoot and into the bags on the back. He also had fun riding Bret's old pedal John Deere.

Another highlight was t-ball. He saw kids playing this on Sesame Street and has been talking
about baseball ever since. Cousins Max and Will donated some PVC pipe for a makeshift t-ball stand.

Baby girl kept up with her crazy sleep positions. What a dolly.
