Evelyn Claire is 27 weeks old! This week she (along with her brother and mommy) got sick. She had a fever all Tuesday evening and overnight and has had some sort of cold ever since. Wilson got it the next day and now I'm getting it. Kevin has been the lone holdout and hopefully he can manage to stay healthy even among us.
Wednesday I stayed home with Evelyn and Friday Kevin stayed home with Wilson. We realized this week that I've never had to call into work due to a sick child before and Kevin has only had to do it twice. It really reminded us to count our blessings that #1 our children have been so healthy, #2 for great childcare providers, past and present, and #3 that Kevin has the flexibility with his own business to take off from work early when he needs to for the kids. We are so grateful for these things.
This week we decided that Evelyn has separation anxiety. She freaks out if we even walk away from the living room to the kitchen. If we move too far away it's upsetting, if we move out of sight it's devastating.
