On December 23, at almost exactly 9 months old, Maribel started cutting her first tooth. Actually, two teeth: her bottom two, with one just coming up a little quicker. She's started so much later than her brother and sister! It hasn't stopped her from gumming cheerios, which she technically shouldn't eat but she loves to gum them up and eat them. When you're a third child, your parents stop following the rules so closely...

Maribel's aunt found her on the second step of our stairway! Guess it's time to gate the stairway again!

Maribel hits a violent streak when, in a fury, she strangles the bunny that has sat by her side week after week...
