This was a cheap-o white bookcase that formerly served as a nightstand for a shabby-chic'ish guest bedroom. That guest bedroom was overtaken by miscellaneous wood-color furniture, including nightstands, and the shelf lost its functionality. So, a little black paint and its now in our side entryway area. Now, how to accessorize that is also somewhat babyproof? Time will tell.
The other project actually is from a couple of weekends ago. Our fridge was overtaken with pictures, business cards and notes and we were beginning to feel that there were not magnets strong enough for our clutter. I covered a bulletin board with some fabric I had and Kevin helpfully hung it up in the laundry room. I love how it turned out!
