I had a video to go with this post, but like the story itself, it just didn't quite go the way I planned. Let me start from the beginning......
I came home Wednesday feeling very happy with the day and anxious to play with Wilson. Wilson and I were going through the alphabet when I noticed the foulest of smells coming from my beautiful little boy. I started changing Wilson when the doorbell rang. I quickly threw on a clean diaper and set the "dirty" one aside to grab when I came back. I went to the door where I proceeded to talk to a college kid who was earning extra money by trying to sell me new windows in the middle of Dec. for installation in the middle of Jan.???? (mind you it was -10 degrees with wind chill ). As I was trying to politely blow him off, I turn around and low and behold Wilson is taking off his new diaper and then proceeded to PEE on the hardwood. So send the kid off with a smile ( OK maybe not quite ) and grab Wilson and put his diaper on. I then look over at our dog who has her face buried in Wilson's "dirty" diaper. I yell "Sophie" and watch her look up at me and start smacking her lips all the while having "dirt" all over her face. I set Wilson down, grab a towel and Resolve spray, clean up the pee and ever so gently yank the dog off the floor and carry her to the sink. While letting the water warm up and proceed to wash out the dog's mouth with the sprayer, some sort of demon proceeds to possess her and she starts flailing every limb she has uncontrollably thus getting water everywhere, including all over herself, and in the process kicks a plate off the counter and it shatters on the floor. So now I am stuck between a wet dog on the counter and young boy trying to pick up shattered pieces of plate. I get Wilson to leave it alone and get Sophie dried off, then pick up the pieces of plate. I grab the vacuum and start to clean up and Wilson starts crying because he is afraid of the vacuum. So I try to calm him down and see if he wants to vacuum. He calms down and starts to vacuum ( insert Wilson vacuuming video here ). Not more than 1 minute after stopping the video Rochelle walks in all chipper and happy and looks at me and says, "What's wrong? How was your day?" HA HA (eye twitch)

What a great story! If it makes you feel any better, our dog looooves pooh. Like, we had to lock up the diaper genie because he kept ripping it up to get at the dirty diapers love. Gross, but true.
And at least it's easier to clean up pee on hardwood than on carpet :)
