Wilson's first ER visit

After having an up and down fever for three days, he spiked at over 104 degrees today. He was just miserable. His Dr. advised us to visit the ER where he got a nebulizer treatment and xrays. He was diagnosed with bronchitis/pre-pneumonia and a double ear infection. They sent us home with prescriptions for antibiotics, breathing treatments and cough medicine. When we left the hospital and got in the car he said, "All better" and as we were getting home he said, "Don't worry, Mommy."

He is just such an easy going little guy - if his fever hadn't spiked we wouldn't have even thought to take him to the Dr. unless it hung on through Monday. He wasn't tugging on his ears, and though we knew he had gunk in his lungs we weren't TOO concerned - he's had croup several times before and his Dr. never prescribes anything for it. Anyway, we're just thankful that we did catch the fever so we could get him to the Dr. and help him feel better.
