Evelyn, Week by Week

Evelyn Claire is 28 weeks old! She is ticklish - far more than Wilson has ever been - and we laugh and laugh at night when we play and tickle her. She is getting bigger and bigger, slowly growing out of all of her 3 month clothes and moving into those 6 month clothes. She is getting to be a better and better sleeper. While she still insists on waking up 1-2 times per night, she has taken to an early bedtime (between 6-7:30 and sleeps in until sometime around 5-6:30). I told Kevin that she is ironically turning into the sleeper of the two since Wilson has always been late to bed and early to rise.

I'll hijack Evelyn's post here to note that Wilson has been better at sleeping "in" until 5 ever since we taught him to look at his digital clock and to sleep or play quietly until it turned 5. Before that, we could be woken from 2:00 on depending on the night since his impulse was to get up the second he wakes. We had to child proof him inside of his room since he would sneak downstairs while we're asleep and we didn't want him to get hurt. Now, Wilson comes to his door and says, "IT'S FIVE! GUYS, COME OPEN MY DOOR!" Friday night we decided to set his clock back to see if we could trick him. Nope, his internal alarm is far more reliable to him than that pesky clock. Sigh.
