He doesn't sleep enough. He wakes around 5-5:30 each day and he's instantly "on" with his little mind is on overdrive. He feels compelled to come into our room and tell us what's on his mind. Everything.
He talks. Constantly. If there is nobody around to talk to, he'll talk to himself.
He's a dancing fool, and he still loves books. These are two things he and Evelyn can agree upon and will do together peacefully.

He loves playing cars, construction and...well, just about everything. He likes board games and recently has been more into mazes, find the hidden picture and matching type games. I can't get my hands on enough of these activities to keep him busy - he tears right through all of them.
School bums him out. Well, to clarify, a little boy at school seems to be the only part that bums him out. The boy seems to be aggressive and getting into trouble a lot in general. Wilson's teachers describe Wilson and this boy like oil and water, and while Wilson seems to want to avoid him at all costs, the other boy seems to really like getting up in Wilson's grill. It's hard not to be there with him to know what exactly is happening! We're so surprised to have these issues already at preschool. He loves all the kids, his teachers and activities aside from this.
He's a smarty-pants. He can count by 5's, 10's, 20's. He can count as high as he has the attention
span to go (I've only gotten to 200 with him before). Aside from occasionally switching out or skipping numbers, he's got it all down. You can show him any number and he can read it. He's really great at sounding out his words and he's often asking how to spell a word that we use in conversations.
He is so incredibly observant. At least once a day he bowls us over with some random observation that is so keen. He points to cars in parking lots and can identify cars that look like his grandma Mangold or grandma Williams' vehicles by make, model and color. These are cars he doesn't see on a frequent basis!
He's become increasingly affectionate...toward Evelyn and I. Lately when Kevin tells Wilson that he loves him, Wilson will say something like, "Mm-hmm. But I love Mommy and Evelyn best."
Kevin has kind of taken a beating overall lately, actually. Last weekend we asked Wilson if Daddy was cool to which he answered no. When pressed, he said it's because Daddy doesn't dress cool. We asked how he should dress to be cool and Wilson said, "Um, shirts with trucks and diggers and motorcycles." Okay.
He is almost four. Holy cow, he's almost FOUR!
