First day of school

Wednesday Wilson had his first day of pre-K.  He will go on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Most of the kids go to his classroom everyday, except 3 kids go 3 days (which he feels pretty smug about).

On his first day, it was very stormy so we ran outside barefoot for a picture before the downpour came. This year they are allowed to have backpacks, and he is very proud of his superhero backpack.

These pictures are from the open house where they encouraged parents to take pictures to avoid chaos on the first day.  Wilson found lots of toys he liked.

He likes his teachers and seems to have no major complaints  But on his second day, Friday, he complained, "Why do I ALWAYS go to school?!"  Might be a long year.
