Weekly

Wilson was asked at school what his superpower would be.
Wilson went to his eye doctor visit and needs glasses for distance vision. He was really excited about it.

Evelyn's eyes checked out.

A few random photos:

Sometimes they play nicely together.

They crack me up. I'm shirking my parental responsibilities because every time Wilson or Evelyn brush their teeth, Maribel makes one of them brush hers, too.

We use the chalkboard in our eating area to write the 2nd grade memory verse each week. Wilson has always been a champ at verse memorization. He repeats it a few times, then closes his eyes and recites it, and it's locked in.

Someday I'm going to miss the way she's always putting her shoes on the wrong feet.

And the way Evelyn dresses. She knows she's always supposed to wear shorts under dresses, but somehow that's turned into skirts under dresses, which is kind of missing the point.

Our friends were in town over Labor Day weekend, so we spent time with them at the park/splash pad.

And here is Wilson and Evelyn rescuing toads from the window wells in the neighborhood. They always wish they could keep one.
