Weekly

On Labor Day we went with our friends to a nearby county fair.

And went to the demo derby.

EClaire ate her first eclaire.

We celebrated Kevin's birthday with ice cream at Baskin Robbins. Note Wilson's shirt: that is how he returns home every day after school. He's always spilling lunch or wiping his face on his collar.

Homework has started to become more time consuming. Still easy, though.

Maribel doesn't think she needs naps anymore. She does. But picking the kids up from school in the afternoons makes it a challenge, so she usually only gets one a couple of days a week.

I think this is the first time she played in the rain by herself. She mostly carried the umbrella upside-down.

She likes to play in Evelyn's room while she's gone at school.

Aunt Alicia and Uncle Brett and our cousins came to visit. We had a Mary & Martha open house, went to the park, Wilson had a birthday party, church, and now the weekend is already over. This week Evelyn has her first field trip to the apple orchard. They could only accept a small # of chaperones and I didn't get to go to this one, and she is pretty devastated about it :(
