Visiting Santa

Today we went to visit Santa.  Evelyn was terribly shy at first, just waving at Santa and Mrs. Claus as she walked up, sticking her tongue between her lips like she does when she's unsure of a situation.  But, she and Wilson sat on Santa's lap and while Evelyn could barely look up from feeling so shy, Mrs. Claus helped the situation by handing out cookies a little early.  Santa could barely hear Wilson's list because he recited it with cookie in his mouth, eventually telling him that he wants a bat cave and cars.  He really wanted to add a hamster with a cage to his list, but I told him hamsters don't travel well on Santa's sleigh.
