Evelyn's first sentence

Evelyn is a very verbal little girl, but she doesn't speak many words distinctly. Her favorite word right now is, "No!" No to everything. Do you want to play? Candy? "No!"

She sings the alphabet and counts to ten - but just sounds it out vs. saying the actual words. When I leave for work for the day she tells me to "ah-uh-hi-ay" or, have a nice day.

But yesterday she strung together her first few real words. She held up her book called Cheep Cheep, and said, "Cheep Cheep book."

Very sadly for me, we capture very little of this on film. The second we pull out the camera Wilson starts vying for attention and Evelyn loses her train of thought.
