Snow day

The big snowfall in Chicagoland stopped falling early Saturday morning.  When Kevin and Wilson left to run errands, Evelyn and I brought in a big bucket of it to play with.  I realized it was the perfect texture for snow cones!  I found a recipe for snow cone syrup online and we whipped up some cones for the kids before heading outside to share the love with our neighbor kids.  Soon, we had flock of kids waiting in line for a sweet treat.
