Our first "incident"

Yesterday we got our first incident report of Wilson hurting another child. The details are fuzzy, but his good friend at Ginger's, Riley, was covering his nose and mouth and made him mad. He pushed her away and she hit her head on a table and had to go to the doctor to get two staples.

Luckily, Riley's mom was very understanding. Wilson, who loves to put change in his piggy bank, is taking his bank to cash it in to pay for Riley's doctor bill. While he's too young to understand all of the consequences, he is sad that he no longer will have coins in his bank. He also lost his two favorite construction toys for 2 days.

We made a "feel better" card for her last night, and Wilson asked if he could write a note on the card all by himself. He wanted her to be sure to know that he got his toys and piggy bank taken away. What it really looked like was two stick figures of his mommy and daddy, and he drew an "X" on me(mommy) because apparently I get all the credit for his punishment.

In a related note, we were surprised to learn yesterday that Wilson can draw really good stick figures and heads/faces with eyes, nose and a mouth.
