Evelyn, Week by Week

Evelyn Claire is 24 weeks old. She seems to have decided she doesn't need the swaddle anymore. Hooray! But, she likes to roll over and lay on her stomach. Boo!

The first night we tried this, of course we were worried she would wake herself up with all her crazy arm movements and tendency to scratch herself. But, happily, she just used those little hands to suck on to self-soothe those hurting gums.

We wish to report she now sleeps better, but she's still touch and go in that department. We also wish to report she would do this for naps during the day, but she just really, really likes her swing for naps. Just like with Wilson, we know it's just for a season.

Here is sweet Evelyn in the hat Grandma W. got her for Christmas. Hmmm....it looks cuter in person (the egg-head effect is only in photos).
