Baby Girl Mangold Update

Well, it's not really much of an update at all! We went to the doctor last week and she didn't even bring up the amnio or induction so we didn't, either! So my assurances to the doctor that I can handle the endless contractions seemed to do the trick. That, and of course, that the baby seems to be handling them well, too. So long as that is the case and she doesn't decide to come on her own, we are planning the induction for medical reasons July 23 or 24 - less than two weeks away!

We're getting excited and nervous. We are anxious to see how bringing a new baby home will change the family dynamic. Will she be quiet and easy like Wilson? Will she be the complete opposite? We know it will rock Wilson's world, but will he be excited or jealous and act out? And, how will Kevin and I do it? We won't have the luxury of "quiet" when the baby sleeps with a two-year-old in the mix.

The answer is, we won't know until two weeks from now. But we're so ready for the challenge and feel incredibly blessed that we have something so wonderful to anticipate. And most of all, that despite all the complications with this pregnancy, that she seems to be completely healthy.
